Two of Silverback Jiu-Jitsu’s instructors traveled to Chicago this past weekend to compete at the IBJJF Chicago Summer Open Jiu-Jitsu tournament.
Scott Roffers – gold (M6 open)
Jason Schmitt – silver (M3 middle), silver (M3 open)
Scott was the sole competitor at master 6 heavyweight. Thankfully, the open division provided a tough opponent. It was a close match, and Scott received the victory via a referee’s decision.
Jason had a couple of very close matches for the day to get second place at weight and third in the open division.
